Staff

The directors of Victory Ministries are Lloyd and Janice Craycroft. Lloyd is a licensed and ordained minister and along with his wife Janice, have been involved with this ministry since 1983. Together they share a burden to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor of our inner cities. Lloyd is a graduate of the Ohio State University and of Word of Faith Bible College, Dallas, TX. Lloyd and Janice have four grown children and five grandchildren who all reside in Columbus, Ohio.

 

 

Phyllis Lasher is the office manager and volunteer coordinator of the ministry. Serving first as a volunteer herself, and then as a staff member, she has been with this ministry for over 17 years. Her role here also extends into the day to day personal ministry to our clients as she helps many of the women who need additional ministry. Phyllis is a graduate of the Columbus, Ohio branch of the International Leadership Training Institute.

 

 

Mike Roth has been serving as the Food Pantry Manager since the spring of 2006. Mike’s long history of friendship and volunteering with the Ministry led him to take on his current role. Mike attended Capital University majoring in social psychology, and has a combined 30 year tenure in the banking and health care industry with an emphasis on Marketing and Medicare, respectively. He and his wife Debby have been married for 35 years and have one son who has given them two grandchildren. Mike serves as an elder and active member of Trinity Family Life Center , Pickerington and is a lifelong resident of Central Ohio.

 

 

Jim Schroeder is the Development and Communications consultant for Victory Ministries.  Schroeder is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in Political Science. Jim and his wife Carol married in 1980 and have two children, Joseph and Ellen.  They attend Vineyard Church of Columbus. Jim previously served as Director of Development for Ohio Right to Life.  He held the same position at Pregnancy Decision Health Centers of Columbus and Heartbeat International.  Jim also served as Development & Communications Director for Urban Concern, a ministry serving the inner city of Columbus.  Prior to entering the non-profit world, the Chicago-native spent 15 years in television news, the last 12 at NBC4 in Columbus, where he held various roles, including business reporter, talk show host and week-end news anchor. His final two years were in sports, where he hosted an NFL pre-game show, anchored the week-end sports and served as Sports Director.

 

Kay Kasberg has served in a volunteer capacity for over 15 years at the Mission and has now joined our staff as a licensed counselor and the director of our Counseling Ministry.   She offers pastoral clinical counseling to our clients free of charge, and is currently developing a new program at Victory Mission utilizing counseling interns to increase the number of people helped.  Kay has a degree in psychology from the Ohio State University , and a master’s degree in clinical pastoral counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Kay and her husband Joe have been married 31 years and have six children and one grandchild. Kay resides in Pickerington, Ohio.

 

 

 

Joanna Scott is the Project Coordinator for Victory Ministries. Joanna is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa , Oklahoma and has served in full time pastoral ministry for 11 years. Joanna’s work experience lies in non-profit administration which currently includes: researching and procuring grants, coordinating food and toy drive efforts, and numerous other development projects. Joanna and her husband Josh have been married for 14 years and together they have two children. Joanna resides in New Albany, Ohio.
